Peer Review Process
Articles submitted to the Vidyodaya Journal of Science (VJS) will be subjected to double blind peer review process. If the decisions of the reviewers vary, the article will be sent to a third reviewer and the editorial board’s decision is final. Authors are advised to nominate three expert reviewers of the same discipline, outside the author’s affiliated institution to expedite the review process. Review papers will undergo editorial screening by a designated book reviews editor.Paper Acceptance
VJS accepts original full length research papers, theory-based empirical papers, review articles, case studies, feature articles, research notes, and book reviews. In submitting an article to VJS, the author guarantees that the same manuscript has not been previously published in another journal, proceedings or any other form (except thesis or dissertation), nor it’s being under consideration for publication in another journal.
Final decision on acceptance of a paper is with the editorial board. Promotion in any form will lead to rejection of the manuscript. Selected papers will be put in queue for publication. Once the article is published author will get a confirmation mail from the chief editor. In no case articles having more than 5 authors will be considered unless justification is provided for the work done by co-authors.
Plagiarism
Plagiarism will be checked for all manuscripts and those will be rejected if the similarities exceed 10%
